It is difficult to think about your own mortality and planning for your final wishes is not easy. But leaving these difficult decisions to your loved ones can be even more challenging. By planning ahead and making a commitment to the type of services you wish to have, you relieve your family members from wondering what you would have wanted, financial strain, and from making poor decisions due to emotional stress. By becoming a member of the Cremation Society of Connecticut you will help to alleviate these pressures on those who are left behind.

After completing our membership application, you will have your instructions for your final wishes on file along with all the information we will need to handle your services. You may change or add to these details at any time as life circumstances change. Most importantly, your family will have peace of mind knowing that your wishes are being honored.

After becoming a member, you will receive a membership packet in the mail which includes a membership certificate, two wallet identification cards with our 24 hour member services number, and a brochure detailing all the services we offer.

When our services are needed, a single phone call to the Cremation Society will put our services in action and we will guide your family through the entire process. Our membership fee of $30 is a one-time fee to reduce the cost of maintaining your records and setting up your membership. You will receive member pricing when making preneed arrangements or your family will receive member pricing at the time of your death if prearrangements are not paid for.
